The beer selection features impressive local brews, excellently kept and diverse. The setting holds charm with picturesque views, complemented by a comfortable bedroom featuring a decent size and adequately arranged furniture.
The rooms sit directly above the bar, making late-night conversations from patrons outside quite audible, and there’s no air conditioning. The steep stairs to the room could be a concern for some, especially after a few pints. Parking options are limited, and the carpet shows noticeable wear. My bathroom had a macerator pump toilet, which added an uncomfortable noise factor that made me hesitant to use it at night. The dining options leaned heavily on pizza with cooked breakfasts that were consistently overdone.

We had a lovely stay for one night, enjoying the tasty dinner and homemade breakfast that hit the spot. The garden area is perfect for relaxing with a drink or catching some sun on their cozy chairs. Just a heads up, the entrance can be a bit tricky if you're coming from the south, but it’s worth the effort! 😊

For a peaceful sleep, request a room away from the pub's outdoor seating area due to potential noise from lively locals.
